Therapeutic Rock Climbing Session

Service Description

A singular group therapeutic climbing experience. Over two hours, participants will strengthen their therapeutic skills on the rock wall and while grounded. Participants will learn new skills, building upon the foundation developed during the introductory course; additional climbing techniques will be learned and combined with new therapeutic tools drawing from multiple frameworks. Participants will be guided by a trusted clinical therapist, and overseen and instructed by professional rock climbing instructors. Each two hour session includes: - a warmup and preparation phase - therapeutic climbing experiences both solo and with partners - group process and discussion over a healthy snack - additional climbing - a therapeutic, guided group debrief and processing period
